Director, Digital Delivery- Marketing service provider

Reperio, Inc., a Boston area Executive Search Firm, has been engaged by one of its local clients to conduct a search for a Director, Digital Delivery. The client is seeking a senior professional with a proven track record in designing and delivering complex technical solutions and managing technical architectures. As a Marketing Services Provider, it is especially important that our client's senior leaders show experience in grasping marketing concepts and can display the insight to know how to apply technology to meet marketing needs. In addition, our clients drive our business, so candidates should have a professional demeanor and have good verbal and written skills. Our client is looking for a talented leader who is driven and has a proven technical progression in their career. Candidates should have a strong grasp of database architecture, modeling, business intelligence reporting and database access tools. Experience leading team(s), particularly of ten or more, will be needed.

Responsible for the day to day management and strategic engagement of key Digital database and reporting accounts. Successfully execute several large, complex projects simultaneously. Responsible for task and delivery management, risk identification and management. Directly develop and maintain several client and vendor relationships with key decision makers. Provide thought leadership and direction for clients. Assist account staff with project requirements gathering and technical design specifications. Interact with client. Occasional visits to client site will be required.
Provide technology leadership and direction while managing a delivery team through entire SDLC. Manage technical staff and project timelines; technical staff has both direct reports and reports in a matrixed environment. Excel at resource management, forecasting, leadership, and teambuilding. Provide guidance to account staff regarding technical capabilities, staffing, and infrastructure needs. Implement processes and identify repeatable efficiencies and define solutions that will generate measurable results for the clients.
Assist in business development/ sales. Sell solutions to senior and executive management with client organization. Identify additional revenue opportunities. Perform presentations. Experience summarizing technical design to a non-technical audience is a must.
7+ years experience in a technical delivery environment, along with excellent communication skills.
Bachelor's Degree required, Advanced degree preferred.
Expert knowledge in areas of Technical Project Management and database driven marketing programs.
Proven ability to maintain a high level of customer service.
Prior experience in both managing and motivating a staff of employees.
Demonstrated ability to define & execute strategic initiatives.
